The basis of irritable bowel syndrome is thought to be stress, generalize anxiety disorder and other related psychological reasons. People with anxiety tend to worry greatly about issues such as health, money, or careers that can lead to digestive disorders that include stomach irritability, weakness, muscle aches, insomnia, frequent bowel movements, constipation & cramps etc. Even though the relationship is not clear but definitely adversely impacts gastric immunity.
